Fencing & Boundaries

Privacy, security and structure for your garden

At ADC Landscape and Garden Maintenance Contractors, we supply and install all types of garden fencing and boundary solutions.

Whether you need a simple replacement fence after a storm, a smart new boundary for the whole garden, or a mix of fencing, gates and hedging, we’ll design and fit a solution that looks good, feels secure and stands up to the weather.

Why your boundary matters

A well-planned boundary does more than just mark the edge of your property.

We’ll help you choose fencing and boundary treatments that work with your home, garden and budget.

  • Privacy
screening you from neighbouring windows and roads
  • Security
    helping to deter unwanted access
  • Safety
keeping children and pets safely within the garden
  • Shelter
reducing wind and creating more comfortable seating areas
  • Style
framing your garden and tying all other landscaping together

Closeboard & featheredge fencing

Strong, traditional and very popular

  • Heavy-duty posts and rails with vertical featheredge boards
  • Excellent privacy and strength, ideal for side and rear boundaries
  • Can be built to follow ground levels or form stepped sections
  • Options for timber or concrete posts, with gravel boards to keep panels off the ground

Fence panels & concrete posts

Neat, consistent and easy to replace

  • Standard or decorative fence panels in a variety of styles
  • Installed with concrete or timber posts set in concrete
  • Concrete or timber gravel boards to protect the panels from damp
  • Easy to change individual panels in future if damage occurs

Ideal where you want a smart, uniform look and straightforward future maintenance.

Picket & post-and-rail fencing

Open, decorative and ideal for front gardens

  • Picket fencing – great for front gardens and cottage-style properties
  • Post-and-rail – simple, open fencing for larger plots, paddocks and rural settings
  • Options for painted or stained finishes

These options work well where you don’t want to completely block views or light.

Decorative & continental panels

If you want something a little more decorative, we can supply and install:

  • Continental panels with curved tops and lattice sections
  • Trellis panels used on their own or above solid fencing for extra height without feeling enclosed
  • Feature sections to screen bins or sheds

Decorative fencing is ideal for areas close to patios, garden buildings and seating spaces.

Composite fencing

For a modern, low-maintenance option, composite fencing can be a great choice:

  • No regular painting or staining required
  • Clean, contemporary look in various colours
  • Rot-resistant and designed for long-term performance

We can combine composite fencing with traditional timber elements, walls or planting for a balanced look.

Gates, access and finishing details

A boundary isn’t complete without well-designed access. We supply and fit:

  • Side gates for access between front and back gardens
  • Garden gates to match new fencing
  • Double gates for wider openings where you need vehicle access
  • Secure latches, bolts and hasps & staples

We also pay attention to the details:

  • Setting posts at proper depth and spacing
  • Aligning heights and lines for a straight, level finish
  • Gravel boards, capping rails and post caps for protection and a neat look

Our installation approach

All fencing and boundary work is carried out to a professional standard:

Where required, we can also make minor adjustments to levels, add sleepers or adjust ground levels so your new fence sits properly.

1
Old fencing carefully removed and disposed of
2
Posts set to correct depth in concrete for strength and stability
3
Areas left tidy and safe at the end of each day

Boundary solutions beyond fencing

Not every boundary needs a fence.

We’ll advise what works best visually and practically for each side of your garden.

  • Hedge planting and maintenance
    creating softer, green boundaries
  • Low walls and raised beds
    combining brickwork, sleepers and planting
  • Retaining structures
where there are changes in level
  • Mixed boundaries
for example, wall at the front with fencing and hedges at the sides and rear
